It’s China Fashion Week in Beijing, China, and I love the designs that were showcased during the Beijing Aimer Lingerie Show. (More photos of the designs are below.)

Did you know that the term lingerie derives from the French word ‘lin’ for linen? In French, lingerie applies to all undergarments for either sex, but here in the U.S., it applies to women’s undergarments that are designed to be appealing to the eye or erotic. Well sure, and that’s why Victoria’s Secret and Frederick’s of Hollywood is so successful here…heh.

Obviously some of these designs for China Fashion Week are not meant to be worn as an “undergarment”, but more to appeal to your “man” or “woman” (whomever you prefer). I just think the designs are gorgeous!
