Linda Stein, former co-manager of The Ramones, has been found dead at her Manhattan apartment.

Linda Stein, 62, was found dead, from what appears to be blows to the head and neck.
Linda is the ex-wife of Sire Records head Seymour Stein who is responsible for the careers of Madonna, The Ramones, Talking Heads and The Pretenders. Linda was credited with arranging The Ramones July 1976 appearance at the Roundhouse in London, which is one of the key moments in the creation of the British punk scene. She managed The Ramones throughout the 70’s with Danny Fields. She parted with the band on 1980.
Linda then went into real estate, where she gained clients such as Sting and Billy Joel and dubbed herself “real estate agent to the stars”.
