Silvia has recently announced that she will be hosting again the weekly television program, “Verissimo�? (Very True). The show is all about celebrity gossip and current drama occurring in Italy thanks overall to the participation of the Italian journalist, Alfonso Signorini, who is an expert in that area.
Silvia Toffanin was born in Marostica, Italy on the 26th of October 1979. Since 2004, she has been a professional journalist, an alumni from the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore in Milan where she got her degree in Foreign Language and Literature this year. Her thesis title was, “L’Adolescenza in TV�? (Television Adolescence). She has begun her career in television working for the channels of Mediaset in 2000.
After working for a short time as a Letterina in the Italian program, “Passaparola�? (Pass the Word) directed by Gerry Scotti, she earned herself a better spot in 2002 as hostess for the show, “Nonsolomoda�? (Not Only Fashion), where she is still currently working. It’s a cultural program that talks about famous museums and historical towns, talking all in relation to the present past and the coming future. Since 2006, she has also been hosting the gossip television show, “Verissimo�?, a weekly news program.
