Despite sold out concerts and many wonderful promotional photos that seem to portray an untied band of girls, The Spice Girls are at each others throats once again.

The Spice Girls, who are spending hours upon hours together filming a video for their new single Headlines, making an advert for Tesco, and starting some dance rehearsals, are struggling to maintain the peace within the group. It seems as though every member is doing their own thing, while trying to come together as a group and it is causing fighting among the members.

Baby Spice – aka Emma Bunton, has just given birth and is deeply stressed with having a 10 week old. Emma is also the group member that tries to keep everyone calm, has also been made awkwardly uncomfortable by the arguments between the other members.

Geri Halliwell – aka Ginger Spice, who unexpectedly left the band in 1998 – annoyed everyone as she constantly broke off from the video shoot to meditate and made a fuss about having the “right” brand of mineral water on set. The girls were already miffed at her behavior, as she ruined their inaugural press conference by wearing a cream floaty dress when the agreement was they would all wear black.

Victoria Beckham – aka Posh Spice, has several instances of diva like behavior such as, constantly talking on her cell phone, lining up the best outfits for photos and video shoots and making it clear to all of the other Spice Girls that she is the one who become a superstar since the groups split. Victoria can’t be found with out her entourage of assistants and bodyguards. Some of who bear fruit and champagne to appease Posh. Victoria’s bodyguard has also had instances where he told people not to speak to her when she is “tired”.

Mel B. – aka Scary Spice, is annoying the girls because of her obligation to Dancing With The Stars. No one took into consideration that she would make it this far in the show and everyone is concerned that her DWTS schedule may interfere with Spice Girls dance rehearsal. Scary also has the added stress of having a six month old and a new husband.

All of this fuss is creating high tensions and fighting within the group. But no one is ready to back out as they are looking at grossing well over 143 million dollars. Each girl stands to make around 14 million dollars, possibly more, which is a substantial amount more than their debut. Plus they will have many amenities that they didn’t have before. Each girl will travel with her own entourage, they will each have their own hair, make-up and wardrobe assistants, plus friends and family and a 757 jet has been chartered and dubbed Spice Force One. Definitely worth a squabble or two, don’t you think?
