Lions for Lambs, a drama starring Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, and Tom Cruise, is due out November 9, 2007. You can see the video trailer below.

The movie, which is directed by Academy Award winner Robert Redford, is about two students at West Coast University, Arian (played by Derek Luke) and Ernest (played by Michael Pena), who are inspired by their professor, Dr. Malley (Redford), to do something important in their lives. They decide to go to Afghanistan and fight for their country, which leaves Dr. Malley quite moved by their decision.

As Arian and Ernest are in the middle of the fight of their lives, Dr. Malley tries to reach out to a student (played by Andrew Garfield), who couldn’t be more opposite than Arian and Ernest.

In Washington, D.C., Presidential hopeful Senator Jasper Irving (played by Tom Cruise) is about to reveal a bombshell story to a TV journalist (played by Meryl Streep) that could affect the fate of Arian and Ernest.

Each of these stories intertwine, and shows us just what an impact they have on each other and the world.
