Marie Osmond collapsed on live TV tonight while standing before the judges on Dancing with the Stars, after performing an impressive samba. The show quickly went to commercial as stunned viewers (myself included) watched.
After the commercial break, host Tom Bergeron explained that Marie had passed out and was fine, backstage awaiting her scores. He said the first words out of her mouth upon awaking and finding everyone hovered around her was “Oh crap.”
After receiving her scores, a visibly embarrassed Marie explained, “Once in a while that happens to me when I get winded, and I stop breathing. I’m so sorry.�?
