Kid Rock was arrested earlier this morning (lovely mug shot photo, eh?) in Atlanta, following a fight that erupted at a Waffle House.
According to TMZ, five people in Rock’s entourage were all arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple battery.
Kid Rock arrived at the Waffle House at 5:15 AM after performing earlier at The Tabernacle.
A male customer in the Waffle House recognized a woman with Kid Rock and words were exchanged between the woman and the customer. This led to an argument, and a fight broke out in the parking lot of the Waffle House. The police were called, and Kid Rock’s tour bus was pulled over a little while later.
The customer was identified by the police as Harlen Akins. He was arrested and has been charged with one felony count of second degree criminal damage to property - a window was smashed at the Waffle House at an estimated cost of $500, which in the state of Georgia constitutes a felony charge.
Kid Rock posted bond at 5:00 PM and signed autographs for fans as he got back on his tour bus.
