Last year, Joely Richardson announced she was leaving Nip/Tuck to care for her ill daughter (she was diagnosed with a rare medical condition) and now, judging from the photo above (plus more photos below), it looks like this last year has put a strain on her body.
No doubt the stress of taking care of a sick child can take a toll on a person, but Joely clearly has lost a significant amount of weight - her collarbones and spine visibly jutting out, looking quite emaciated. Tongues were wagging at the Cartier party Joely attended, where an onlooker said:
‘Joely’s weight loss was the talk of the night,’ said a fellow party goer. ‘While her face and hair looked great, her physique was utterly unrecognizable.”
Joely’s 15-year-old daughter Daisy was diagnosed with a rare circulatory condition and had several operations on her legs. Joely moved back to Surrey to take care of her, and Daisy has now fully recuperated. Joely has also returned to Nip/Tuck.
