Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey may be heading down the aisle within the year. According to the National Enquirer, Vanessa has given Nick an ultimatum; marry her by next year, with out a prenup, or she’s gone!
Vanessa has already picked out an engagement ring – a platinum band with a large emerald-cut diamond in the center and two smaller emerald-cut stones on each side. Vanessa loves Nick but is ready to hit the road if her doesn’t marry her, without a prenup.
Apparently Vanessa feels that marriage is forever and she doesn’t want to start a lifelong commitment by signing an agreement that is only in case of divorce.
In my opinion, Hollywood marriages are harder than regular marriages, and even most of those end in divorce. If she loved him, she would be understanding of what he went through with his ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, and sign the prenup. Even though Nick is the one who benefited from no prenup in his first marriage, I’m sure he is just learning form past mistakes.
