Irina Lazareanu has just recently admitted that she is indeed engaged to Pete Doherty. After being asked about a ring on her wedding finger the model replied,

“I very recently got engaged.”

Irina Lazareanu and Pete have been reportedly dating since Pete broke up with Kate Moss. Rumors of engagement have been floating around ever since, and today the rumors were confirmed. The unique model did keep the wedding date a secret.

Irina Lazareanu was born on June 8, 1982 in Romania. She grew up in Quebec and moved to London to study ballet. Before too long, Irina got involved in the underground scene and met Pete Doherty, the two dated briefly, but nothing came of it and they remained friends. However, she did find something she was very good at; modeling. Irina takes amazing photos and models clothes uniquely and beautifully. See video below.

Irina Lazareanu’s big modeling break came when she was aquatinted with super model Kate Moss, who hand picked her to model for Vogue, Paris. After that her career took off. She has modeled for top high fashion designers such as Chanel, Versace, and of course Kate Moss’ Top Shop line. She now holds the record for the most runway work in one season.
