Madonna Nominated For Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame

Madonna has been nominated for election into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame. Madonna has been on top of her game and maintained her super star, status producing hits for three decades.

The Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame is a huge honor and has inducted many legends such as Elvis, The Beatles, The Doors and Janis Joplin. There are five categories of induction; performers, non-performers, early influences, lifetime achievement, and sidemen. Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record.

Madonna is among 9 other nominees including; Afrika Bambaataa, The Beastie Boys, Chic, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five, John Mellencamp, Donna Summer, and The Ventures. Only five of the nine will make it.

Last years inductees were:

* Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
* R.E.M.
* The Ronettes
* Patti Smith
* Van Halen
