Tragically a special effects technician was killed on the set of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight.
The victim died when a truck carrying a camera platform crashed into a tree, while following a stunt car. The accident did not happen during filming and no actors were harmed in or involved in the incident.
The studio said that producers, cast and crew “are deeply saddened by this tragedy and their hearts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased.”
The Batman movie stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Maybe it’s a sign to stop making Batman movies, there are enough already.
