The official Prince tribute concert at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota was a star-studded farewell. You can see video highlights as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and others deliver powerful performances honoring the legendary artist.

While there have been countless tributes to Prince since his shocking and untimely death on April 21st, at age 57, this was the official tribute concert organized by the family to bid a final farewell. Taking to the stage were a staggering array of music stars including, as mentioned, Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan– who performed the classics ‘1999’ and ‘I Feel for You’ and ‘Raspberry Beret.’

Also participating, were members of Prince’s bands New Power Generation and 3rdEyeGirl as well as Morris Day, Doug E. Fresh, and Tori Kelly. John Mayer, Anita Baker and Christina Aguilera were slated to participate, but did not take part.

Previous tributes, notably at the BET Awards, have brought out a bevy of stars, and earlier this year, Prince’s band The Revolution reunited for a series of tribute concerts at the iconic First Avenue club in Minneapolis, the venue featured in Prince’s landmark movie ‘Purple Rain.’
