Jennifer Lopez Reveals Her Diet and Workout Secrets

Jennifer Lopez opens up about her daily diet and fitness routine. The superstar entertainer reveals She says she is in better shape now than she was in her 20s and opens up about her fitness and dieting secrets to success.

The stunning and ever svelte Jennifer Lopez reigns on the stage in Las Vegas where she continues her residency, while also appearing on the small screen in the NBC police drama ‘Shades of Blue’ All the while, more than a quarter of a century into her superstar reign at 47 she’s looking better than ever.

Naturally, that begs all kinds of questions. What’s the secret — or, truthfully trough of secrets? The star has often dished on her daily routine and this time around she does so in an a cover story interview for Your Fitness. The magazine notes her longtime collaboration with the company BodyLab.

She said she was “extremely proud” that the “ealth and fitness formulas were designed by women, for women.” Elaborating, she added, “A lot of us are worried about taking protein but there’s no added creatine so you won’t bulk up.”

As for how she adds these products into her own daily routine, she said, “I always start my day with a BodyLab TastyShake in the morning, a healthy lunch, and then another protein shake for dinner.”

Continuing, she went on to say, “That shake at dinner is key, because when you’re dieting it seems like you’re always your hungriest at night, so having some calorie-smart protein can help fill you up and kill those night time cravings.”

Of course, there’s more to a fabulous and fit body than protein shakes! And Jennifer Lopez does open up about her fitness routine. She is a longtime proponent of the Tracy Anderson Method. It’s a two-hour daily routine which quite a few celebrities swear by including Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian West among others.

Jennifer Lopez said, “I love the way working out makes me feel, so I try to keep my body hydrated and well rested after every workout so I’m ready to hit it hard again the next day. I drink plenty of water, fuel my body with healthy foods and make it a priority to get eight hours of sleep a night.”

The mother of two also opened up about including her twins — eight-year-old son Maximilian David and daughter Emme Maribel — in her daily routine, and said, “I also love to relax with my kids after a workout and share a healthy snack with them!”
