Take all this with a grain of salt. The published account says that Maureen McCormick is not really a lesbian, but just had some unexplained experiences with Plumb. The claim of sexual play could easily be exaggerated just to sell a book, and that would be an unfortunate way to needlessly drag Jan Brady’s name through the muck.

Update: the pre-sales pitch indeed appears to be overdone in an effort to build interest in the book. They may have kissed once or twice, although even that is open to scrutiny since it is hard to believe anything.
