With typical eloquence, she said, “There are no words to express how shocked and devastated I am to hear of Alan Rickman’s death. He was a magnificent actor & a wonderful man.” She went on in a second Tweet to offer condolences for the family, including his wife, Rima Horton whom he married recently. The couple had been together for nearly 40 years; since the late 1970s.
