Jennifer Lawrence is the definition of glamour in purple splendor in her daring, low-cut Christian Dior gown at the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′ in Berlin. No wonder the pictures and video — which you can see here — are causing such a stir.
It is the last world premiere in the series, hard as that is to believe, and it was a memorable night in Berlin, and the photos will live on and on. And most especially those of the 25-year-old Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.
In this the fourth and final movie, she is our one and only Katniss Everdeen in ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise and by now, as one closes one’s eyes it’s hard to imagine anyone else as Katniss. She owns the role.
And yes, she owned the red carpet alongside her co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth who have been with her throughout the several years of this franchise which has made that bold leap from printed page to big screen that now, so many other YA dystopian novels attempt to imitate. Yes, we’ve got a lot of franchises these days, but there’s still just one ‘Hunger Games.’
We’ve had a few years now of Jennifer Lawrence and her bold, uncompromising style. She may bring gravitas to the big screen and some much-welcome maturity and reflectiveness to the ongoing dialogue on women in Hollywood, but adding to her multi-dimensional presence her amazingly consistent style on the red carpet. You can count on it, she will launch headlines not just with her wardrobe choices, but the charisma and glamour to carry off an exciting look.
So here we arrive now at the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games:” in Berlin, and it’s just shopworn language to say she’s stunning. But yet she is! It’s a gorgeous Christian Dior gown and yes, it’s cut very, very low. But she pulled it off with no wardrobe malfunction.
Yes, to repeat, Jennifer Lawrence stuns once again, and you can see Katniss and all her red carpet fierceness of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1′ — more photos and video below!
