Carrie Underwood is stunning in Daisy Dukes in ‘Smoke Break,’ her first music video since returning to music after giving birth. The new single from her new album, ‘Storyteller’ now has a smoking hot visual and it’s going viral.
Yes, she is back on the scene, the 33-year-old country music superstar and American Idol champion just months after become a first-time mother. She’s displaying her post-baby-body quite conspicuously, let’s say, in a super sultry music video. And along with that, she has also unveiled the cover art for Storyteller, which you can see below.
Yes, the rollout has begun. The new album is due out in October and in a matter of a few dizzying days, we’ve seen the first single, ‘Smoke Break’ released to radio, where it’s already climbing the charts. After a Q&A session whch saw her defending the title. After all, much of interior space these days is smoke free and a smoke break may mean standing outdoors in blistering heat or blustry cold.
So now with the video the talk is more of a metaphorical smoke of super hot visuals than the carcinogenic variety. You can almost bet safely that the new album will go platinum, and the single, may well precede it similar staggering sales of the platinum variety.
Oh yes, and there is a narrative in this sepia-toned video, which sees Carrie Underwood traveling in a desert landscape singing an ode to the working class in the sultry Daisy Dukes and tall suede boot, as her long blond hair swings in the breeze.
And, as she sings the lyrics, we witness a mother of four mother making a hard won living as a waitress in a diner who, in music video fairy tale style, meets up with a handsome man from the city. Yes, it’s a sizzler, thanks to the superstar’s ubiquitous presnce.
