Yes, it’s been four years of Little Mix and the British girl group were on the Today Show out on The Plaza for a spirited live performance which you can see right here! They also reminisced about their career thus far and their future plans in a live interview. Fans have been raving all over social media.
Yes, four years together in the increasingly whimsical and sometimes merciless pop music landscape is an achievement. Most especially for a group that got its start on The X Factor where they were assembled, quite literally. Four hopefuls — Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson — became one group and, as we say, the rest is history as they not only won in 2011 but have gone on to have a career. Not always a given these days as we’re so saturated with talent show winners all over the world.
If it seems like Little Mix is suddenly everywhere, well, that’s because that’s quite the case, as least in the U.S. where the girl group has been massively promoting their much-anticipated new album, ‘Get Weird’ due out in the fall. They were on the Teen Choice Awards and then on Late Late Show with James Corden. And, too, there’s been some incidental publicity due to the breakup of Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik formerly of One Direction.
But, the show goes on as it must in show biz. And on and on! And, along the way, they find themselves on the Today Show, not just indoors in the iconic Studio 1A but out on The Plaza at Rockefeller center among a massive crowd. A free concert will always draw huge numbers, but most especially with the likes of Little Mix. Later, all members of the group sat for a live interview with co-anchors Tamron Hall, Al Roker, and Natalie Morales.
And, these days, a live television appearance is just the beginning as their appearance now lives on in pictures and video. And you can check out the full replay and the pictures of Little Mix on Today Show celebrating their four years together!
