The cast of ‘Suicide Squad’ made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego. Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delivigne, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman caused quite a sensation at Hall H. Now the video is online and you can relieve the exciting moments that fans in H saw in person!
Yes, it was a fan-dream come true, as the stars of the DC-comic book movie — which is still filming — were suddenly introduced. you can see below as Will Smith, Margot Robbie (picture above), Cara Delivigne, Viola Davis, and Jai Courtney take to the stage.
The superhero movie written and directed by David Ayer (‘Fury’) is highly anticipated. Rightfully it’s an anti-superhero movie as it is a team of villains — dubbed the titular ‘Suicide Squad’ — who have been assembled to take on black ops missions that are only suitable for the “the worst of the worst” who have used their powers for evil.
It’s a fascinating premise to explore in full when one takes it past the superficial cliche, and let’s hope the movie lives up the high expectations. We’ve got a whole year to hold such expectations since it’s not due out until August of next year.
It’s got an enormous cast headed by Will Smith portraying Deadshot and Margot Robbie (‘The Wolf of Wall Street’) as Harley Quinn and model turned actress Cara Delevingne as June Moone a.k.a. Enchantress. Notably missing from Comic-Con that day was Jared Leto who portrays The Joker.
The trailer was also shown, and while it has been removed from the video below, we’ll add it as soon as it’s available. Meanwhile, it’s leaked to the Internet and is easily found with a Google search.
But it’s exciting nonetheless to see a surprise appearance from such an assemblage of A list stars, and we’ll happily settle for that! Watch the full video of the ‘Suicide Squad’ cast at the Comic-Con panel below!
