Amanda Seyfried stole the ‘Ted 2′ red carpet premiere with her hair braided in cornrows and wearing a gorgeous LBD. Check out the photos and video and find out why her stunning look at the comedy’s New York City premiere is suddenly all the talk in social media.
The 29-year-old actress rose to fame in ‘Mean Girls’ and her star has been rising ever since. She scored quite a plum role in the sequel to director-writer Seth MacFarlane’s raunchy R-rated comedy ‘Ted’ which proved hugely popular worldwide at the box office. She portrays the lawyer of title character (voiced by MacFarlane) and seeks to get him declared a human being.
At the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown Manhattan she was a hit and, as E!News reports, her little black dress is by Mugler, the shoes by Christian Louboutin shoes, and the earrings by Jacob & Co. A stunning look, and the celebrity news outlet quotes her as saying that she intended a “flashback to the 90s.”
All in all, a fashion success, not a fail! Yes, she has managed the near-impossible, to stun on the red carpet without exposing body parts or having a wardrobe malfunction. Sometimes a well-put-together look, to say nothing of the right physique, will do wonders to get one’s photos going viral online.
Yes, while she may have stolen the red carpet, nonetheless, plenty of other luminaries were present that night, celebrities and costars of the movie. Among them Seth MacFarlane, Belle Thorne, Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham, Morgan Freeman, Patrick Stewart, Liam Neeson, and Jessica Barth among many others.
The much-anticipated movie will have numerous cameos from the likes of the aforementioned Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson as well as Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, and Tom Brady among others. The storyline advances as the all-too human titular teddy bear continues his inroads into the human world.
But in New York City on premiere night, it was Amanda Seyfried and her dazzling blonde cornrows and LBD that stole the show. Check out the video and the red carpet photos below!
