Mariah Carey’s ‘Infinity’ Music Video with Jussie Smollett, Tyson Beckford and Her Profile!

June 2, 2015

Mariah Carey’s ‘Infinity’ music video features a whole range of suitors including ‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett and supermodel Tyson Beckford and her actual profile!

In simple, factual terms, ‘Infinity’ is the lead single and only new song from the compilation album “#1 to Infinity” comprised of her entire career’s worth of No1 1 hits, a staggering total of 18 which is also the setlist of her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

But there’s more — reportedly more — to the song than that. It continues to draw much notice and speculation over its eyebrow raising lyrics which are thought to be about her estranged husband, America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, such as “Could it be that you just lost the best you’ve ever had.” And if that’s the case, Cannon’s loss is the gain of potential suitors on — of all places! —

Mariah Carey told People magazine that yes, she created an actual profile on the online dating site. The celebrity news outlet reports her as saying, “I hope every woman who is single and listens to this song goes out and finds her infinity, whether on Match or the traditional way.” A screenshot of the profile is here.

But much of the uproar and excitement is over not the untold numbers of unknown would-be suitors but instead the two cameos from Jussie Smollett who portrays Jamal Lyon on “Empire” and the supermodel Tyson Beckford.

Smollett arrives at Carey’s door with a puppy; and yes, it’s redundant to say an adorable puppy, but nonetheless, this one is a real heart-melter! Meanwhile, Beckford has yet another enticing approach; he shows up looking like a Chippendales dancer, with a bow tie and no shirt and flexing some impressive musclature.

It’s a fun video for a song which perhaps does not have the most lighthearted impetus and it’s quickly going viral. Without delay, you can watch the full Mariah Carey ‘Infinity’ music video below!
