Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of The Hollywood Reporter and opens up about her Oscar snub for ‘Cake,’ the plans she and her fiance Justin Theroux have to start a family, her struggle with dyslexia and more. She also blasted tabloid stories that continue to circulate years after her divorce from Brad Pitt.

For the 45-year-old Jennifer Aniston these are exciting times which even the cover photo for The Hollywood Reporter captures, as she reveals her famously long and beautifully toned legs, white stiletto heels and a skimpy and sexy white sweater/minidress. The headline sums it up, “Jennifer Is Just Fine.”

While the Academy may have snubbed her despite the massive Oscar buzz for her dramatic role in Cake, she did still clinch the SAG Award nomination as well as the Golden Globe nod. And as the award season gets underway there may be yet other nominations if not actual awards to line her shelf.

But as always, there are the personal topics at hand, and she launched headlong into them with The Hollywood Reporter, saying of her fiance Justin Theroux, star of HBO’s ‘The Leftovers,’ and their wedding plans, ““We don’t have a date, [but] I wouldn’t tell you if we did.”

Bravo. These days secret wedding reported after the fact are becoming quite the trend. Perhaps the couple may surprise us one way with a beautiful pic on Instagram.

She spoke of how and why it is that she is so drawn to him, saying, “It was his humor, mainly. He’s the easiest guy to hang around. He was so completely in his skin. It was the first time I remember being so comfortable [with a romantic interest], like with all my gay friends.”

She did also talk about that other subject. Every other week it seems the tabloids are reporting her as pregnant. She said, “Listen, that’s a topic that’s so exhausted. I get nervous around that, just because it’s very personal. Who knows if it’s going to happen? It’s been a want. We’re doing our best.”

And yes, there is that other “other subject,” her former husband Brad Pitt, who infamously met Angelina Jolie on the set of ‘Mr and Mrs Smith,’ and, as we say the rest is Bradgelina history. But one does wonder when the public will move on, as that was, after all, 2004. Thus Jennifer Aniston herself must weigh in on the shopworn topic. She said of Pitt, “We’re not in daily communication…But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things [happen].”

She went on to say, “If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bullsh-t. There’s no story. I mean, at this point it’s starting to become — please, give more credit to these human beings.”

Yes, indeed, if only! The exasperation is palpable.

Jennifer Aniston was also quite candid in discussing a longtime struggle with dyslexia which she says was not diagnosed until she was in her early 20s. After describing in some details how she was diagnosed almost by accident, she revealed just how profound the diagnosis was for her. She said that previously, “I thought I wasn’t smart. I just couldn’t retain anything…Now I had this great discovery. I felt like all of my childhood trauma-dies, tragedies, dramas were explained.”

Jennifer Aniston also spoke in general terms of her future aspirations, wishes and dreams, telling the publication, “There’s something bigger I’m interested in doing. It could be more work, it could be more creativity, or getting more philanthropic in the world. It can look like a baby. It can look like a foundation. I know I have a bigger purpose. It’s a puzzle, and I haven’t quite put the puzzle together. But something greater is calling out to me.”

Indeed for a celebrity of her stature the possibilities are endless from feature film director to international humanitarian. And while she may be keeping us guessing, it appears that she too may also be a part of that very same guessing game.
