The death of famed comedian and character actor Taylor Negron of cancer at age 57 sparked an enormous outpouring from fellow comedians, celebrities, public figures and fans alike. Check out a roundup of the heartfelt and emotional tributes which many have shared on Twitter.

It was his cousin, Chuck Negron of the band Three Dog Night, who broke the news via a YouTube video (below) and it is sad news indeed. He said, “I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace.”

At 57 he is gone much too soon. He is one of those actors who could bring much sparkle to a movie even in a bit part. And, as such, many know him for his role in in the iconic movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High, delivering a pizza to Sean Penn’s character. He was also seen in many other movies and television series, including “Easy Money,” “Angels in the Outfield,” “Better off Dead,” “and “Stuart Little” just to name a few. He graced the small screen in back in the 1990s in “Fresh Prince of Bel Aire” and “ER” more recently in the 2000s in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Taylor Negron was certainly not forgotten — despite his absence from the screen as he battled cancer — and as soon as it became clear that his death was sadly real and not the latest Twitter hoax, his colleagues expressed their remembrances and condolences. You can see a roundup along with the aforementioned announcement video below.
