With a new, more sexy and real image and the release of her third album Girls Gone Bad, Rihanna proves she’s a music world veteran, having shot to stardom with her first two album. Her new album places her in the superstardom. Despite her early success, Rihanna has managed to maintain her humility, good sense and smart business mind, all of she attributes to her family’s unwavering support.
Rihanna disclosed in a interview with Giant Magazine that her father was a drug addict and It stressed out her as a child, an admission that she now regrets because it was taken out of context.
The interviewer asked, What keeps you away from drugs? and I told her I saw the effect it had at firsthand. it was no like, “I was something to say, My Dad was on drugs!” she says with a hint of frustration. I am actually embarrased by that. I don’t like speaking about it because I’m not proud of it. But it is something that helped make me who I am today. Now people know that I am not perfect and that I had real conflicts.
In the Atlanta Peach interview Rihanna also admits having one more thing on her wish list this year: a bad boy. So, I don’t think Rihanna really is dating Shia LaBeouf. Wait, she’s not!.
I like bad guys. [They have] the most personality and make you laugh. I love that. I need to have a good time. Happiness is when I get off the phone and I am glowing. I want that person to be my light.
