Nick Hogan, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was seriously injured in a car accident last night in Florida. According to the Police Department the accident occurred around 7:31 PM ET. Nick Hogan (real name Nick Bollea) drove his Toyota Supra at a very high rate of speed and lost control. The car was flipped over and hit a palm tree with the back end of the car. The entire car was destroyed. Nick Hogan ( Nick Bollea) and his friend were flown by Medivac helicopter to a hospital in St. Petersburg.
Nick Hogan and his friend are very seriously injured. According to TMZ, Nick Hogan is in serious condition, but his friend sustained more severe injuries. He is listed in critical condition.
The accident took place in Clearwater, Florida and caused the entire street to be shut down for hours.

We’ve been covering the Nick Hogan story over at Highbrid Nation. Honestly I just think it unfortunate. At times I think we allow kids to start driving way too young. I hope his friend pulls through.

I think that street racing should just be save for the track. We have produced videos for the Florida Highway Patrol and have seen first hand the horror of the results of loosing control. Florida has many 1/4 mile tracks for $20 you can race all night long.
