Miss Colorado, 18-year-old (Yes!!! She’s LEGAL!!!) dark-haired beauty Hilary Carol Cruz was crowned Miss Teen USA last night at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California. Cruz is a native of Louisville, Colorado.
The first Runner-Up was Alyssa Campanella from New Jersey and Kaitlin Coble from North Carolina was the second runner-up. Cruz made Miss Teen USA history, becoming the first contestant from Colorado to win the crown. Cruz takes over the crown from last year’s Miss Teen USA winner, Katie Blair.

Hilary Carol Cruz Biography
Hilary Carol Cruz is 18-years-old and was born and raised in Louisville, Colorado. Hilary is an aspiring journalist hoping to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and someday work as a reporter on a television entertainment program.
Cruz graduated from in 2007 from Centaurus High School and will attend college at the University of Northern Colorado. Hilary describes herself as someone who is accustomed to – and comfortable with -the stage, which she credits to her performance in 15 plays during her short 18-year lifespan.
As the new Teen USA Hilary will continue to work with EFAA, an organization close to her heart. The acronym stands for Emergency Family Assistance Association, which is a charity that helps people in financial crisis one day become more self-sufficient.
