Justin Bieber’s new single, “All That Matters,” has made its official debut early after having leaked online. It is the second song of his “Music Mondays” weekly release. He describes it as “personal” fueling speculation that it is about Selena Gomez, his former girlfriend.

Yes, prior to its scheduled release, the song leaked online on Sunday. Soon afterwards, as multiple users were uploading it to YouTube and sharing it on Twitter and Facebook and elsewhere, the official audio was then posted on Justin Bieber’s YouTube VEVO account; you can hear it below.

His previous #MusicMondays release was “Heartbreaker.” The R&B ballad was well-received both for the vocal and stylistic maturity as well as the deeply introspective lyrics which he invited listeners to believe are autobiographical.

He continues this same trend with yet another song that is in keeping with a “journal” as he characterized these songs in a Tweet (@Justin Bieber). For those who may suspect he writes of Selena Gomez in the aftermath of their breakup, these new lyrics leave little reason to imagine otherwise, as he sings, “Yeah, yeah, what’s a king bed without a queen /
There ain’t no “I” in team / You make me complete / You’re all that matters to me.”

He previously released the single cover art on Instagram and the single will go on sale at midnight Monday on iTunes. As with his previous release it is expected to top the charts on iTunes around the world.

With a new song coming out every week for ten weeks — this being week two — a leak is insignificant. Justin Bieber has made his point; he is determined to reveal a more mature, artistic and personal side, even as tabloids still report on his every alleged misstep. The journals as he calls them may continue to reveal much more about the emerging adult music artist.

From a more pragmatic side, the Music Mondays campaign is also to generate a buzz for his forthcoming 3D concert film, “Believe,” which takes its title both from his album and from the world tour. The movie is expected to open in theaters at Christmas time.
