It’s A Boy: British Relish Birth Of Royal Baby

It seems like William and Kate have only been married a little while, but that hasn’t stopped them from popping out the future king of England.

If all goes as planned, the little baby making headlines worldwide this week will take the throne after his father. Sure, we’re most likely talking decades from now, but that doesn’t stop people around the world from taking an interest.

The UK Daily Mail reports: “Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to healthy baby and future King weighing 8lb 6oz at 4.24pm with proud Prince William by her side…”

They obviously couldn’t be any happier. Alongside their usual assortment of disturbing stories is a quaint little section on the royal birth.

Throngs of maniacal monarchists gathered in front of Buckinham palace awaiting news, when finally a footman placed a nice little certificate on a easel just a few feet from the iron gate, which read:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess Of Cambridge was safely delivered a son at 4:24PM today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

As as the notice was posted, overzealous onlookers nearly stampeded their way to the gate to snap photos. Luckily, there were no reports of any injury.

Reports state that William and Kate will stay together at the hospital and don’t even expect visitors. Word has it that William himself chose to stay in an intimate family setting for the first day of the baby’s life, without even having any extra visitors.

Prince Charles said: “Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy…”

So far there is no word of the child’s name, and things are a little quiet. We will update you as soon as more information is revealed. Until then, check out a video of the events below.
