Mandy Moore recently covered Rihanna’s Umbrella and it is amazing! Personally, I love Mandy Moore’s version better than Rihanna’s. Umbrella really showcases Mandy’s voice; she has such a beautiful tone.
Mandy explained why she chose to cover this song: “This was one of my favorite songs of the moment. I’m not a big Top 40s type of listener but you just can’t deny how melodic this song is.�
I have never really been a fan of Mandy Moore’s music. I think she is beautiful and I love seeing her in magazines and premiers but her music has never been that good. This song made me appreciate her voice a lot more. If she made a record in this style of music I think it would be a huge hit.
Multitalented Mandy Moore also made headlines this week at the premiere of her new movie “Dedication”. The movie is a romantic comedy, directed by Justin Theroux, who also directed Charlie’s Angles.
