Although all the deats regarding what is exactly going on with Sykes have not yet been revealed, I of course do have some info for you that I will gladly share in one hot second. First though I want to remind you all about our Caption This photo contest. It is super easy and a ton of fun too. All you have to do is take a little glance at that above picture of the hunky boy bander and caption it by leaving your witty remarks in the below comments section. Then next week when a brand new hot topic and pic are posted come back here to see if your name is in black and white as the big winner. The Wanted and Nathan are both on fire these days so who doesn’t have something to say about his photo right?

So what is going to on with the singer? Well his band-mates took to Facebook to release this message to their fans.

“Our lil Nath has to go in for an operation on his throat, on his birthday to make him better. So please join us in wishing our brother and our friend well. Get well soon Nath, we love ya!”

Not long after that a rep from the group had this to say.

“We can confirm that The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes will undergo specialist throat surgery on Thursday 18th April in Los Angeles and as such will be taking unforeseen hiatus form The Wanted.”

As for Sykes he has been sending some very vague and mysterious Tweets regarding not feeling well and having a lot on his mind. I am sure once it is all said and done he will be more than happy to share just what caused him to have to undergo throat surgery. In the meantime here is hoping he has a very safe and speedy recovery so he can join The Wanted on tour beginning in June.
