This is kind of the last thing I expected from these tow. And as much as I like Kelly Osbourne, I can’t help but think she is instigating and dragging out the whole situation. And her mother getting involved? Please.

Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga have been in a public feud over bullying. Apparently it all started when Kelly gave an interview and revealed that Gaga’s little monsters bully her and send out death threats.

“They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped,” Osbourne told the UK’s Fabulous magazine. “I mean, it’s crazy but I’ve had this all my life and I just try and ignore it.”

Gaga took note and responded with an open letter, which of course infuriated Kelly and her mama. Gaga asked Kelly to use her celeb status for positive rather than negative to “help create a kinder and braver world.”

“It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others?”

Then on January 10, Kelly’s mother Sharon apparently had enough and posted a lengthy note to Gaga her personal Facebook page.

“You say [Kelly’s] work on E! with the Fashion Police is ‘rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.’ Welcome to the real world.

“Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened. When I see you wearing fur, and using it as a fashion statement, the fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorrent to me. Shouldn’t you be teaching your ‘little monster’ fans to respect animals and life?”

Now, Gaga has responded with an open letter to Sharon on her website.

“The ‘real world’ can be cruel, why not try to change it into a better place?” Gaga wrote. “I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do. My letter to Kelly Osbourne was open, because her statements on cyber-bullying were public & as a youth activist I’m compelled to be involved.”

Bwaaa this whole thing is petty. Gaga could have simply said nothing or apologized for her fans saying such horrible things – or at least encouraged them not to – as it stands against everything she believes in.

On the other hand, this is not Kelly’s feud and maybe she should learn how to take it. Years of calling Christina Aguilera fat and other horrible things is coming back to haunt her, eh?
