Amanda Bynes has had her car impounded by police after being cited for driving on a suspended license over the weekend.

Amanda Bynes is unsurprisingly in trouble once again. This time the former ‘What I Like about You’ actress was caught driving on a suspended license this past Sunday morning after numerous car related incidents in recent months.

Police finally decided to take the troubled performer’s car away, impounding her black BMW on the scene. People Magazine has since spoken with Victor Gill of the Burbank Airport Police who confirmed the latest episode involving Bynes.

“I can confirm that Amanda Bynes was cited at approximately 8:20 AM Sunday for driving with a suspended license.  Her car was impounded and she received a misdemeanor citation.  She was not arrested. I believe she was by herself. This occurred on Hollywood Way just south of the main entrance to the Bob Hope Airport.”

Bynes is scheduled to report to court in person on the incident September 21st. L.A. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel has issued a statement over the matter, “It would seem like Ms. Bynes would need to be here in court on that day.”

In recent months the 26-year old Bynes has been the subject of repeated headlines for her reckless behavior.  Just days ago pictures of the ‘Easy A’ actress smoking what appeared to be marijuana out of a pipe while driving surfaced on the web. She will also appear in court on September 27th for a hit-and-run in Van Nuys.  She was also involved in a similar episode just last Thursday night when she was seen driving around West Hollywood.  Around 10:30pm she managed to hit a white car in front of her, reportedly tapping the vehicle with her BMW 5-series after pulling out of a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard.  No-one was said to be injured.
