Katie Holmes continues to flourish in her life post Tom Cruise and that includes a brand new fashion line, which was she showed for the first time today. In honor of Katie’s new venture she has been chosen as Right Celebrity’s Caption This photo contest for the week.
New York Fashion week added another celebrity turned fashion designer to the mix today when Katie Holmes debuted her new fashion line Holmes & Yang. I will have more deats on the former Mrs. Cruise’s show and line in one hot second but first I want to give you the lowdown on our Caption This photo contest. Now that we are done with that, lets focus on wanna be fashionista Holmes. Her new clothing line premiered at New York Fashion week and it was done in not your typical runaway show fashion. Nope instead the actress had models stand still while invited guests walked around them to get a feel for the line. Although there were a few jeers for the former Dawson’s Creek star there were also a lot of cheers. From the pictures I have seen, at People.com, I have say I like what I see. It has a little trend and a little Holmes all rolled up into what some might call just another fashion line and they would be right. Even though articles and Tweets have been published about Holmes & Yang a full review have yet to make the news so whether or not the clothing line is a hit or miss remains to be seen. I for one can’t wait to see what the fashion world has to say about Katie’s fashion line.
