98 Degrees Reunites On The Today Show (Video)

It has been 10 years since the boys or men I guess you would call them today, from the band 98 Degres have performed together. That all changed this morning though when Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre belted out their famous tunes as part of the Today Show summer concert series.

The men of 98 Degrees were looking fine as they took the stage in Rockefeller Plaza earlier this morning. Not only did Drew, Justin, Jeff and Nick look good but they sounded amazing. Seriously it took me back to not only the boy band era but to a time when I was obsessed with these guys. I was pleasantly surprised that they sounded just as good as they did all those years ago. If you don’t believe me please check out the below videos which will no doubt change your mind.

Although I thought the performances from the guys were great, the interview was a little bit on the awkward side. There were some jokes about them being a man band, their writer being different than back in the day etc, you get the point all jokes about how much older than they are, which weren’t exactly funny. One part of the interview, conducted by Samantha Guthrie, did reveal that the guys are going to be working on some new music. According to Nick there are things in the works, I don’t exactly know what that means but possibly a tour could be on the horizon.

98 Degrees is the latest boy band to reunite or try to make a comeback, however you want to put it. I am going to admit I am really liking this new trend, so to speak, it reminds me of well youth. Now if only *NSYNC would get back together it would truly be the boy band era again. I know that won’t happen but I am just sayin it would be pretty freaking cool.
You know my thoughts on the 98 Degrees reunion as well as boy bands getting back together in general, now let me know what your thoughts are.
