Kristen Stewart has dropped out of her role in the forthcoming drama entitled ‘Cali’ with word that the actress will be putting her energy into getting Robert Pattinson back.

Kristen Stewart is no longer attached to star in director Nick Cassavetes’ new film ‘Cali’.  As shared by Gossip Cop, Stewart has chosen to leave her leading role behind but will continue to stay on as producer.  Judging by recent headlines surrounding the Twilight actress and her affair with Snow White director Rupert Sanders it could be safe to say that the 22 year old could be reassessing her career choices following some negative press and backlash from fans over her recent indiscretions.

Meanwhile, Celebuzz is reporting that Stewart has stepped down due to her inability to concentrate as well as win back Robert Pattinson back.  She is “so distraught over (Rob) that she can’t focus on anything but getting him back. She can’t bear to be without (Rob),” the site stated.

In ‘Cali’ Stewart was to play the character Mya, a girl who sells a snuff film with her boyfriend Chris (played by Alex Pettyfer) and leaves town.  After faking her death she must then return years later to to help the sister she left behind.  The film is scheduled to begin production this summer which may be a factor in Stewart’s reasons for departing the role.  It is now being reported that actress Amber Heard could be replacing Stewart instead.  It now appears that the heartbroken star is attached to just one other film entitled ‘Lie Down in Darkness’ since Snow White and the Huntsman 2 appears to be unlikely at the moment.

While Stewart has just dropped out of what was a promising project Robert Pattinson is said to be moving on.  The actor has been spotted out with friends and has already lined up a Good Morning America interview in promotion of his movie ‘Cosmopolis’.
