Actress Halle Berry was hospitalized with a head injury during a fight….on the scene of her new movie The Hive. No, she wasn’t out street fighting like some celebs like to do. Instead she was I guess getting a little bit too into character.
It all happened on the set of the movie The Hive, which also stars Abigail Breslin. The basic plot includes Berry as an 911 operator trying to help a girl survive an attack. I guess it turned out that she was the one needed emergency help!
Here is what a rep said about the incident:
“Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film…She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue with production as planned.”
It is always good to have head injuries check just in case, but she is tougher than she looks.
The movie sounds pretty exciting. She took a little hiatus from film for a while and I thought maybe that was the end of her career. Now that she is not only shooting a movie, but getting is involved that she is getting injured is big news.
The last time she hurt herself while working on a movie was not in front of the cameras. Back in September of last year she hurt her foot while walking around in Spain. That injury was bad enough to keep her from attending the Academy Awards.
I thought that was ridiculous back then. How could a foot injury stop you from attending an award show? Is she worried about the paparazzi publishing photos of her with a cast or something? Sheesh.
Anyway as for now, it appears she is back to work and everything will be okay.
