Forbes has released its annual highest paid TV actress list and this year the gorgeous Sofia Vergara is at #1. She even kicked a certain reality TV star out of the coveted spot.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is the highest paid actress on television, right now, having earned an estimated $19 million between May 2011 and May 2012. This little bit of information and the honor comes directly form Forbes, who publishes the list each year. The Colombian bombshell beat out reality TV star Kim Kardashian by $1 million. I don’t really know how Kim can be called an actress but I am going to let that go for now.

As you can see it is quite the impressive list and there are a number of ladies who tied for a certain spot. I for one was really surprised that Khloe and Tina tied for the 5th spot.
I have to say I do have issues with the list, you cannot call reality TV personalities actresses. If this list is going to be true to that then you can’t have Kim, Khloe and Bethenny on it. I am a huge fan of the Kardashians so that is not my beef. My deal is the rest of these ladies are trained actresses who worked their butts off to become the talented chicks that they are, so if the category is actually about actresses then leave off the reality TV people. Create your own category for them for all I care but I think it is insulting to the talented actresses to be lumped in the same group. Sure the reality TV people are making money but not from acting.
