The summer reality show from NBC Stars Earn Stripes doesn’t begin until August 13th but we have learned what celebs will try their hand at being in the military. Who are these stars and can they hack it in the armed forces?
In what will not doubt be an intense show that quite honestly is causing some controversy, some Z-list stars are going be put through the ringer in an intense military training program. Now before I give you more deats on this show let me tell you who is trying to earn their stripes so to speak.

Yep there are the eight stars and I use that term loosely who are going to see if they can handle military training. Samantha Harris and General Wesley Clark will host the show.
If you aren’t totally sure what the show is let me give you a little bit of information. The above eight people will be sent to a remote military where they will be involved in complicated and difficult missions inspired by actual military tasks. Obviously each celeb will be paired with either a current member of the armed forces or a former member to create a team. The operative as the military person is being called will be expected to guide their star but they will compete as a team. Each team will under go rigorous physical and mental training. In true reality TV show fashion each week one team will get eliminated and the last star to remain will earn their military stripes.
I am going to tune into this show because I am curious about it but mostly because I have issues with it. I think it is so disrespectful to those who have served in our military to do show like this. To have these celebrities think they can be on a military level in a matter of weeks is just upsetting to me. I could go on but I won’t until I watch the show. That is what I have to say about Stars Earns Stripes, what are your thoughts.
