It is Soap Dish time again my friends and this week I am dishing about Days Of Our Lives. There is a lot going on with the show right now and that of course means I have so much to say so let’s get to it.
The past few weeks on Days have been well quite interesting to say the least. I want to start with the things I have thought were good because to be quite honest there has been more bad than good on the NBC soap. I thought that Will coming out to Sami and Lucas was freaking awesome. Bryan, Alison and Chandler were all outstanding in those scenes. My heart broke for Will as Sami couldn’t accept her son’s sexuality. It was well worth the wait I tell you and Days has handled this storyline perfect. The other storyline I really like is the Lexie is dying storyline. It seems as the end is near and every time Lexie and her family are on screen it brings tears to my eyes. If Renee Jones has to leave the show the writers and actors are doing one heck of a job with her send off. I can’t wait to see how this story plays out.
All of that being said the rest of the stories are not so great. I mean from the fake deaths storyline to Carrie and Rafe being love, to anything will those silly teens. I can hardly stand it. Oh and let us not forget Nicole being pregnant but claiming Rafe is the baby daddy in order to keep E.J. away from the baby. None of those storylines are believable and do not hold my interest at all. It makes me sad that last fall all of Days was freaking amazing now it seems to have gone down hill and that is not going to save this soap opera from being cancelled. I think that perhaps the powers that be at that show should once again revamp but go back to last fall to see what was going right.
I will never give up on Days of Our Lives but I do admit there is not a whole heck of a lot that I am happy about with the show right now. That is Soap Dish for this week check back next Saturday to see what I am dishing about.
