Hart of Dixie ‘Bachelorette & Bullets’ Episode Review

April 17, 2012

The CW’s Hart of Dixie is really heating up.  The Rachel Bilson drama featured a guest appearance by Smallville’s Justin Hartley and Lemon’s hilarious bachelorette party. Get the full episode review below.

After waiting since midway through the start of the season it looks like Lemon haters and team Zoe fans  got their wish, in a sense anyways.  If you didn’t tune into last night’s episode of hart of Dixie you missed a big one.  Not only does George now know that what he saw in the street last week was in fact Lavon and Lemon sharing an intimidate moment, he’s fully aware of their previous affair and has called off the wedding.

Fans were treated of course to the main event until the very end of the episode entitled Bachelorette and Bullets, but that’s not to say the episode’s start wasn’t just as exciting.  Justin Hartley showed up and sparks were flying between Zoe and his character Wade, a soldier of sorts who shows up in town referring to himself as a ninja.  After charming Zoe into a lunch date at the Rammer Jammer things really go downhill.  In Hart of Dixie fashion things never pan out for Zoe and her love life so why would this be any different.

Finally happy with a date, Zoe ends up putting all of her efforts into stopping George’s bachelor party after Lavon is invited to the event where all of the plan to hunt.  Afraid or the combination of two angry men and a gun Zoe runs to Lemon’s, bringing her date with her to warn her that George is on to them.  Celebrating one last night of freedom with all of her friends as well, Lemon is about to start her own bachelorette party being hosted by her sister magnolia.

Aside from a stripper, and the hilarious Justin Hartley donning a pink t-shirt, the highlight of the night came when Lavon finally admitted that he had a relationship with Lemon.  Obviously distraught George declares that its over between the two of them, the wedding, their relationship, everything.  Another surprise came as well when Zoe discovers that Jesse is Wade’s brother!

Here’s what’s up next on Hart Of Dixie’s upcoming season finale per The CW – “After a wild night of partying, Wade (Wilson Bethel) wakes up with a massive hangover, an uninvited houseguest and no memory of what happened the night before. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) takes an unplanned roadtrip to New Orleans, and Lemon (Jaime King) finally confesses her troubles to her father, Brick (Tim Matheson). In the episode, Scotty McCreery performs “The Trouble With Girls” during a pivotal scene between Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and George, and Scott Porter performs “Jambalaya.”
