Tammy Faye Baker (Messner) on Larry King

Tammy Faye Baker appeared on Larry King Live last night to talk about her battle with colon and lung cancer, which is no longer treatable, so she’s currently under hospice care, which means 6 months or less to live.

Tammy Faye stopped receiving the treatments in May and is 60 pounds lighter and in severe pain. She tells Larry:

“There have been many days when I felt so terrible with my back and stomach, that I have hardly been able to breathe. I cry out to the Lord knowing that many of you are praying for me.”

This poor woman really looks like she’s already dead. She’s little more than a skeleton. She’s pretty light-spirited for someone who’s knocking at death’s door. At least she has a new husband by her side and got rid of Jim Baker. Now if only she’d lose the makeup. I wonder if they’ll do it the same way for a wake.
