Bethenny Frankel’s Marriage On the Rocks

Is Bethenny Frankel’s marriage really on the rocks? Well, after watching her Bravo Show, Bethenny Ever After, I would say it is a safe assumption. But Whose marriage isn’t on the rocks? Seriously, people go through hard times. Marriage is the hardest thing I have done to date, it is always a work in progress, but it isn’t something you give up on, so I am proud of them for working on it and going on that disastrous boat ride.

Despite making it big time, she isn’t taking the easy way out and jumping on the divorce bandwagon, which she easily could have done. But Bethenny is a smart and determined woman. She is also very stubborn. I wouldn’t expect for her to give up that easy.

On the show last night, Bethenny and Jason jump on a “marriage counseling” boat ride with another couple and their therapist.

It was off to a rocky start to begin with, as Bethenny and Jason get into a huge fight prior to boarding. Side note – Jason needs to chill out with his parent issues. It is not normal. You have a family now, mommy and daddy don’t need to be a part of everything. And Bethenny did nothing wrong by not inviting them to the special golf trip for the love of God. Chill out.

Any way, as Jason steers the boat everyone starts thinking they are just going in circles. Meanwhile, Bethenny draws similarities to their life,

“That’s what we’re doing in our lives; we keep having the same argument over and over again. Jason thinks that it is a metaphor for the fact that we keep going around in circles in our relationship that we keep having the same argument over and over again.”

They end up losing GPS and getting stuck and it turns into a hellish event. But all seems to end well, as Jason declares,

“Where do I want to be in 10 years? Married to her. Whether she believes it or not.”

I definitely think there is hope for these two.
