You may have heard of Louise Neathway as Brian Cashman’s stalker, but this story has taken an embarrassing turn for the Yankees manager.
Brian Cashman’s wife Mary Cashman, has filed for divorce and is “seeking permanent alimony, a split of their property, and joint custody of their 13-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son.” All this after an alleged affair hit the news.
Cashman claimed that Louise Neathway was stalking him and extorting him for money. Neathway, who has a history of harassment and trespassing, was arrested and is being held on $250,000 bail.
But now pictures which appear to have Cashman and Louise drinking together at a bar, and then leaving her apartment the following day have surfaced, telling a very different story.
The surveillance photos, which were obtained by the Daily News seem to show Brian leaving Louise Neathway’s New York building at 5:41am, proving they were in some kind of relationship.
Neathway also claims that the pictures of the two having a meal together at a Manhattan restaurant on January 19, only twelve days before she was charged with harassing and stalking the Yankees manager.
“He stayed the night.” she told The News. “I think it shows I’m telling the truth.”
She is set to testify in front of a Manhattan grand jury on Thursday.
I think this is very suspicious. How embarrassing for Cashman, and lowbrow if it is true and he was indeed having a relationship with this woman. Own it and deal with the consequences. Don’t be a coward and put someone in jail for your wrongdoings. Yes she was wrong for the affair too, but she doesn’t deserve the title of stalker and jail time if it was a two way relationship.
