Her latest film, “Girl In Progress”, co-stars Matthew Modine, Cierra Ramirez and Patricia Arquette. Mendes plays a single mother whose personal life is so out of control, which leaves her with no time to devote to her teenage daughter. Mendes told Marie Claire about her character, “She’s a disaster, a mess, which I really love.” The flick premieres April 27, 2012.
Happy Birthday, Niki Taylor! The supermodel is 37 years old today. Niki and her husband of five years, Burney Lamar, welcomed their second child together, Rex, on November 16, 2011. The beautiful baby boy joins big sister Ciel, who is 3, and older sibs Jake and Hunter, who are 17, Niki’s twin sons with first husband Matt Martinez.
Happy Birthday, Kevin Connolly! The former “Entourage” star is 38 years old today. I miss that show, don’t you? What’s next for Connolly? He recently joined the cast of “Elvis & Nixon” where he’ll play a limo driver named Ronnie. The film (as you can surmise from the title), centers around the infamous White House meeting between Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon. Eric Bana has been tapped to play Elvis, and Danny Huston will portray Nixon.
