Jennifer Aniston’s Wanderlust Flops

There’s no denying that Friends wouldn’t have been the same show without Jennifer Aniston, but it seems the star’s glory is slowly starting to fade as her new movie bombed this weekend. Wanderlust opened at horrible number 8 with $6.6 million, with Act of Valor opening number 1 with $24.7 million.

As of late, Jen’s movies haven’t really been taking off. Her last big movie was when she played Dr. Julia Harris in the 2010 hit, Horrible Bosses, which grossed $28.3 million opening weekend. The only problem is that in Horrible Bosses she wasn’t really in the leading cast, in my opinion P.J. Bryne, Kevin Spacey, and Colin Farrell pretty much made the film what is. Her last good starring role was probably in The Bounty Hunter, which grossed $20.6 million opening weekend, yet the movie only got 5.2 stars on IMDB and with plenty of flops in between.

It’s kind of sad to see Jen starting to slowly lose her touch, I still think she’s an amazing actor; it’s just that she’s not really appealing to the younger audiences anymore. The main movie-goers now are younger audiences and they don’t really want to see the older stars, they want to see the ones they are familiar with. I think she carries her role in the movies she does, but I believe that either the plot or the co-stars kind of drag her down, yet in some other roles she doesn’t take very well.

It’s hard to tell, but either way, I’m sure she’s not going to suffer from the many flops her movies have taken, and no matter what there’s always the upside that she’s doing eons better then any other of her Friends co-stars.

So, do you think Jen’s glory is fading? Leave your comments in the section below!

yes this is a fact, her attraction factor is losing a lot of power. unfortunately. Hope the movie can recoup on international rollout, which probably will happen
