A very very Happy Birthday to Betty White, who turns 90 years old today! NBC threw her a star studded birthday party that featured the likes of Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Burnett and Ed Asner, just to name a few. Did you happen to catch the party last night? It was great to see some clips of White from years past, and it’s sad that she is the last surviving Golden Girl. All three of her co-stars have since passed but her current cast mates from Hot in Cleveland were on hand to pay tribute to the actress. Why, she even received a marriage proposal! See who popped the question in the video clip below.

The stars came out in full force to celebrate the life of Ms. Betty White, who was born 90 years ago today in Oak Park, Illinois. As a child, her family moved to Los Angeles, where she graduated from Beverly Hills High School. White’s career has spanned 70 years, and her first foray into the entertainment world came fresh out of high school, doing some work on radio. Over the next seven decades, she would make numerous appearances on TV, film and game shows. It was on the game show Password that she met host Allen Ludden back in 1961 and the two were wed a couple years later. They were husband and wife until 1981, when Ludden died of cancer. Ludden was her third husband, she was briefly married to Dick Barker from 1945 to 1947, and her second marriage to Lane Allen ended in divorce in 1949, after being married for two years. She had no children.

The 90-year-old White has been honored over the years not only for her acting but for her longtime humanitarian work with animals.

To the wonderful Betty White, we wish you the very best on your birthday today!
