After months of denying she is preggers, Alyson Hannigan announced she is indeed expecting baby #2.
The How I Met Your Mother actress and her husband Alexis Denisof have confirmed that they will be expanding their family. Other than the fact the Alyson is knocked up, not a whole lot of other details have been revealed, including when the new bundle of joy will arrive. Hannigan and Denisof are already parents to a beautiful daughter, Satyana Marie who is 2 ½ years old. Alexis and Alyson met while they were both working on show Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
It was a couple of months ago that pictures of Alyson with a very noticeable bump were circulating on the Net. The photos were taken as she was leaving Malibu’s Chili Cook Off but she denied she was preggers blaming it simply on the shirt she was wearing and eating too much. Well it turns out there was clearly something the very private Hannigan was trying to hide. You can’t blame her for wanting to keep the good news between her and her family for a while can you?
Fans of HIMYM already know that Lily, the character that Alyson plays on the show, is pregnant as well. So that means this time around there won’t be any hiding the baby bump with pillows, bags, etc. like when Hannigan was pregnant with her daughter. Oh I hate it when shows play hide the bump, I understand why they do it but it is always so freaking obvious. The character of Lily will give birth during May sweeps.
Wow next year is going to be a big one for the actress. Besides expecting baby number 2 she will reprise her role as Michelle Flaherty-Levenstein in American Reunion. Seriously my favorite role that she has ever played, band camp geek, loves it.
Congrats go out to Alyson and Alexis, they’re going to be parents again!
