Anne Hathaway Engaged: Monster Ring from Boyfriend Adam Shulman

The news headlines screamed that Anne Hathaway was engaged two months ago. What you did not know at the time is that she has a monster $150,000 engagement ring from her fiance. Ann Hathaway’s boyfriend is Adam Shulman and boy is he gullible.

Yes she is beautiful and a Hollywood icon. What boy would not wish to possess her? What girl does not wish to be Anne Hathaway? Who does not wish them all the happiness that material things bring to the Hollywood elites?

And yet who gives this marriage more than six months to last. Mind you, we have no inside knowledge about their extreme blissfull-ness or lack of it. But going by the odds, Hollywood marriages just never seem to last. A little practical knowledge of the likely outcome might have served Adam Shulman well. He might have saved the money or donated it to charity, or maybe just given it to me. I am fairly sure I could make $150,000 last longer than the typical Hollywood wedding.

Her prior sex life includes a rocky relationship with Italian playboy Raffaello Follieri who was eventually convicted of fraud and money laundering while they were together. She wisely split from that cad of a man and now has a nicer boy on her arm. Incidentally, Adam Shulman made his own fortune in the jewelry business so he probably knows a good deal when he sees it.

There is no date for the wedding set yet but we believe that it will occur in the spring of 2012. Stay tuned.
