It’s another boy for supermodel Niki Taylor! The 36-year-old gave birth Wednesday, and she and her husband Burney Lamar, a former NASCAR driver, welcomed Rex Harrison Lamar into the world at 11:03 a.m.
Let’s get some particulars out of the way…the little bundle of joy weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and is 19 inches long. He joins big sister Ciel, who is 2 1/2 and twin 16-year-old brothers Jake and Hunter, who are Taylor’s kids with ex-husband Matt Martinez. Niki and Burney married in La Jolla, California in December of 2006, after being engaged for four months. They had announced she was expecting a baby back in May, tweeting a pic of her holding an ultrasound photo, ‘Guess what’s in this photo?’ The next tweet confirmed it, ‘YES!! We are expecting our fourth child! So happy and blessed!’
She took to Twitter this morning and thanked her many followers for their well wishes:
“Thank you so much for all the congrats baby Rex has arrived and Burney and I are so blessed. Thank you again! Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo”
She guest blogged for PEOPLE magazine last month, recounting the last eight months of her pregnancy, and talked about her cravings. It looks like little Rex Harrison has a fondness for Taco Bell.
“My baby is “thinking outside the bun” daily, and that thought is three hard tacos with no sour cream, a bean burrito with no red sauce and of course, a Sierra Mist to wash it all down. For those of you who want to do the quick order, it would be the no. 8, to be exact!”
She went on to add that where she lives, there’s nothing open after 10:00 p.m., but Rex seemed to understand that Taco Bell’s late night drive thru closes its window at 3:00 a.m. Too funny!
Congratulations to Niki and Burney on the arrival on the newest addition to their family. I can’t wait to see baby pics! No doubt he’ll be supermodel gorgeous.
